1. Who we are

mifi Chinese (“we”, “us”, “our”) is an independent Chinese-language education brand run by Fei Li, operating online at YouTube (@mifichinese). We sell digital learning materials, such as HSK workbooks in PDF format. You can contact us at mifichinese@gmail.com.

2. Information we collect

When you buy from us, our payment provider, Creem (the Merchant of Record), collects the information needed to process your order, such as your name, email address, billing country and payment details. We do not see or store your full card number. We receive your name, email address, country and order details so that we can deliver your purchase and provide support.

If you email us, we collect your email address and the content of your message. If you submit a class waitlist form, we collect the information you choose to provide in that form, such as your contact details, learning level, goals and availability.

3. How we use your information

We use your information to:

• deliver the digital products you purchased;
• provide customer support and respond to your messages;
• send important order-related messages (such as download links or updates to a product you bought);
• review interest in small-group classes and contact you about relevant class options, where you have submitted a waitlist form;
• meet legal, tax and accounting obligations.

We do not sell your personal information.

4. Payment processing

Payments are processed by Creem, which acts as the Merchant of Record for our digital products. Creem handles payment, tax collection and refunds, and processes your data under its own privacy policy: https://www.creem.io/privacy-policy.

5. Sharing of information

We share your information only with service providers needed to run our business (for example, Creem for payments, Google Forms for waitlist submissions, and our email or file-delivery tools) and when required by law. These providers process data under their own terms and privacy practices.

6. Cookies and analytics

Our product page may use basic cookies or analytics provided by the hosting platform to understand traffic and keep the page working. You can block cookies in your browser settings.

7. Data retention

We keep order and support records for as long as needed to provide support and meet legal and accounting requirements, and then delete or anonymize them. Waitlist responses are retained only for as long as reasonably needed to organise classes and follow up with interested learners, unless a longer period is required by law.

8. Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example, the EU/UK under GDPR), you may have the right to access, correct, delete or restrict the use of your personal data, or to object to its use. To make a request, email mifichinese@gmail.com. We will respond within a reasonable time, and within 30 days where the law requires.

9. Children

Our products are intended for learners aged 16 and over, or for younger learners with a parent or guardian’s permission. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us personal data, please contact us and we will delete it.

10. International transfers

We and our service providers may process data in countries other than your own. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for such transfers.

We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be on this page with a new “Last updated” date.
